Liposuction techniques
There are some different techniques of liposuction, but you need to know their prodecure to decide which are the best for you.

- Laser Liposuction. Also known as laser lipolysis market, is the latest technology that exists in the field of liposuction. It is important to note that liposuction laser differs from traditional liposuction basically used the laser to destroy fat (so you can suck using a cannula, as in any other liposuction technique).

- Traditional liposuction (dry). This technique sucks the fat without the aid of any liquid. This method is rarely used because it can cause severe blood loss and damage to tissues and nerves that are close to the adipose tissue.

- Wet liposuction. It is a more conventional techniques, which involves injecting a liquid medicine which causes the blood vessels shut, thereby preventing excessive bleeding and allowing the physician to remove as much of the patient’s body fat.

- Tumescent liposuction. This is a technique similar to the wet technique but with a greater quantity of liquid. This amount of liquid is about 2 to 3 times the amount of adipose tissue to be extracted. The area to be lipo-sucking swells and stiffens. This technique is less traumatic to the tissue.

Ultrasonic assisted liposuction (UAL). This method was pioneered in Europe in 1993, and later in the United States in 1995. The principle behind this type of liposuction is similar to the mechanism of ultrasound machine used by dental hygienists to remove dental plaque. A sound wave is sent through the cannula so as to help emulsify the fat is in its proximity.

Oscillating mode of this type of cannula can be compared to the movement of an electric toothbrush. The cannula vibrates rapidly within a range of small space. As in all forms of liposuction cannula is connected to the suction machine. Ultrasonic liposuction was very popular about 7 years ago and the advantage of this technique is that it facilitates the extraction of fat especially in areas where the fat is much more attached and is more difficult to remove and in the back.

Liposuction assisted by compressed air or medicinal: LIPOMATIC. This is a simple and virtually maintenance free, plus lack of risk to the patient.
